One of the final assignment during my ‘Art of Writing’ minor was writing a 10.000 word story. My fellow teammates and I had a lot of fun together during the entire minor and helped each other through this final heavy assignment. 

Because there were 7 of us, we didn’t have the time to read everyone’s story in depth. My teammate Ian remarked that our fiction teacher from the previous period would love to read what we had written and opted to send her a pdf. But to me a pdf felt like something that would get lost over time. So I researched affordable online printshops.

ABOUT THE PROCESS

With the help of my teammates I bundled all our stories, put them in order and decided on the layout, typeface and pitched different cover designs. This was all done in the span of a week. 

I came up with the title ‘Twisted Tales’ because pretty much all our stories include either murder or some type of traumatic event.

In the end a product was created that would serve as a reminder of all the fun times we had and as a thank you to both our fiction teachers.
